Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and specialized fields. This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide high-quality care to patients of all ages while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections.
Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps.
Manage acute pain and provide palliative care as needed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and assisted living facilities.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Jane.
Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding chronic disease management and preventive care.
Engage in clinical research activities when applicable.
Participate in triage and emergency response situations as necessary.
Experience
Candidates should have a diverse range of experience that may include but is not limited to:
Familiarity with gastroenterology, infectious disease care, geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health.
Proficiency in CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
Previous roles involving telehealth services or case management are advantageous.
Experience administering esthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin injections or dermal fillers is a plus. Pay: $112,574.53 - $135,573.63 per year
