Foreman

Level Recruiting is searching for a Foreman for a luxury home builder in San Francisco.As a foreman, you are dedicated to safety, quality, your own growth and experience, and the growth of the team around you. You the hands-on experience to be able to evaluate the highest quality of construction and demonstrate techniques to ensure the delivery of top notch carpentry. You are on-site as a go-to person for staff and clients alike. Ideally, you are looking to grow into a Superintendent role in the long term. You will be responsible for:Ensuring work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes and Cal-OSHAReading plans and performing layoutPartnering with, and lining out, subcontractors and crewPerforming carpentryOpening and/or closing the siteRepresenting the company if the Superintendent is not on sitePartnering with the Superintendent on daily scheduleOverseeing material deliveriesBeing solution-oriented with the crew and subcontractors and vendorsTaking ownership of material use and minimizing wasteMaintaining job site security and safetyTo be successful, you'll need:6+ years of residential carpentry experience; frame to finishAdvanced construction math skillsKnowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial constructionAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsExcellent communication, fluency in English, active listening, and team-building skillsAbility to take and give directionMust possess a valid drivers license and have the ability to safely operate a vehicle.Experience with project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam is highly desirable.Ability to communicate in multiple languages is also highly desirable.All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for employment.What you'll get:Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits9 paid holidays2 weeks PTOThe compensation range for this position is: $105,000 to $140,000 annually, DOEWho We AreLevel Recruiting is a boutique placement firm that works with the best custom home builders in the Bay Area.
