Mortgage Servicing Specialist

JOB SUMMARYPerforms routine mortgage loan servicing functions. Ensures compliance with established Company policies and procedures, and regulations which apply within the scope of the position, including Bank Secrecy Act.DUTIESPerforms new account system maintenance including but not limited to manual boarding of loans in the systemMonitors escrow payments and track delinquencies through the life of the loanCoordinates daily activities and functions of mortgage loan servicing to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of all regulatory requirements and bank policiesResearch customer and internal inquiries and delivers a response or solution & provide effective customer service and assist in resolving problems within given authority.Processes payments, disbursements, and other transactionsProvides support to the team where assistance is needed; acts as a backup for various mortgage loan servicing functionsEnsures compliance with all applicable government, investor, and bank regulationsInvestor AccountingPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: AA degree or equivalentEXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-3 years of mortgage servicing experience or related banking experience.SKILLS/ABILITIESStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsPositive attitudePC proficient in Microsoft OfficeDetail-oriented and follow- through skillsApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.WHY WORK FOR US?Since opening our first branch in Los Angeles in 2008, Royal Business Bank (RBB) has grown rapidly by adding branches in Southern California, Nevada, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, and Chicago.
