Be able to trouble shoot these pieces of equipment during operationRead and follow the batch recordResponsible for ensuring maximum output of the line, quality of finished product, control wasteResponsible for housekeeping of entire areaEnsure correct materials are being used for the product produced by utilizing the batch recordReport mechanical or any problems to maintenance and/or supervisorFollow BestCo’s LOTO Policy and procedures to ensure that machines or equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy before performing cleaning, service or maintenance activities where they may be an unexpected energization, start-up, or release of stored energyFollow cGMP guidelines for cleaning and paperworkPerform other duties as required by the supervisor to ensure best operation possibleKnowledge And Skill RequirementsAmbitious, self-starter comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independentlyMust possess above average math skillsMust be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization possessing excellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge and high level of attention to cGMP’sMust be able to follow policies and safety proceduresMust be able/available to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as neededIndividual must be hygiene/safety orientedHigh degree of personal integrityQuality conscious.Production and efficiency orientedGood writing analytical skillsAbility to lift up to 60 lbsRequired QualificationsMinimum of High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 6 months of experience as a machine operator.Willing and able to clean and sanitize machinesMust be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needsMove/lift 60 pounds on your own with or without reasonable accommodationsAble to stand for long periods of timeBasic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email)Preferred QualificationsMore than 1 year of machine operator experience.Prior experience in a cGMP environmentNCMI Certified Production Technician
