In-depth knowledge and expertise of applicable laws and regulations governing data protection and security such as FCRA, DPPA, HIPAA, GLBA, CJIS, ISO, etc.Applies in-depth knowledge, experience and independent judgment in drafting compliance project & audit plans. Leads projects or project elements to solve & address complex problems, policies and process gaps. Accountable for ongoing project activities or objectives. Consistently performs role with lower degree of management attention and begins to monitor activities impacted by regulatory requirements as well as industry or location specific laws.Executes all work paper and project/audit supporting documentation according to established compliance and quality standards in a consistent manner. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of project management principles around schedules, deliverables, and risks. Independently manages project & audit activities and develops key performance metrics as needed. Pro-actively solves complex problems, contributes to process improvements and uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services.This role will be hybrid in Alpharetta, GA (2-3 days onsite).ResponsibilitiesCompliance Planning & AdministrationAnalyzes complex compliance issues and identifies areas for action to mitigate risk and ensure adherence.Makes recommendations to internal stakeholders based on an understanding of customer requirements, corporate and organizational policies & procedures, and associated business & compliance risks.Applying in-depth knowledge of contracts & project management principles, drafts and prepares customized compliance records & files, such as audit plans, to document compliance requirements and activities associated with organizational needs.Ensures compliance activities are reviewed, approved and executed in accordance with corporate, business unit and team guidelines.Consistently produces high-quality work-product when drafting compliance & audit plans/documentation while receiving only minimal guidance from management.Demonstrates an understanding of the functions performed by other internal stakeholders, to include Product, Vertical, Client Engagement, & Legal, and leverages those organizations to solve complex compliance issues.Acts as a resource for and works with junior level personnel to organize and maintain all compliance records & files.Compliance StrategyDemonstrates an understanding of business risks.Supports new business pursuits and development of compliance strategies with minimal guidance from management.Leadership / Change Management ScopeDemonstrated change leader who serves as an organizational resource for in-depth knowledge of compliance needs.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.Project ManagementIntermediate level understanding of project management principles.Project work completed successfully & independently with occasional support.SkillsTime managementOrganization & prioritizationCritical & strategic thinkingCollaboration & teamworkAdaptabilityProcedure & document writingAnalytical abilityProcess improvementRisk assessment & managementProficiency LevelIntermediateDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of compliance concepts & principles and basic knowledge of related disciplines.Applies competency to analyze and solve complex problems taking a new perspective on existing solutions.Applies competency to lead projects or project elements.Applies competency with minimal guidance and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.RequirementsMinimum Education: Bachelor's Degree2-5 years compliance or project management experience required5-7 years of business experience preferredHighly organized and works well in team environmentExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Strong negotiation skills, effective & persuasive communicationStrong business problem solving skillsU.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
