Placement will be on the B Salary Schedule with a range of $100,936-$143,669, dependent on education and applicable, verifiable work experience. Placement is determined by the President and Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees Policy and salary schedule guidelines. A hired applicant with an earned doctorate would earn $2,000 per annum, prorated monthly. (The additional benefits package of this position totals an estimated 30% of the salary amount.) The work week is Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend work required at times to ensure student and program needs are met. Hours worked will be a minimum of 40 per week. JOB TITLE: Dean of Student ServicesESSENTIAL FUNCTION: The Dean of Student Services provides strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and operational management for all student services functions, including admissions; testing and placement; student orientation; registrar operations; the Center for College Success; the College and Career Planning Center; dual enrollment; scholarships; student activities; retention; advising; financial aid; and reverse transfer. This employee is under the direct organizational supervision of the President and must comply with all policies of the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees, the Alabama Community College System, and Northeast Alabama Community College.
