Medical Device Coatings Technician (Second Shift)

Annual Salary Range: $55,000- $67,000 (second shift schedule, Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:30am) Surmodics Services & Technologies ("SurmodicsST") (formerly Biocoat) is committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and applying coatings on medical devices. We are looking for a Medical Device Coatings Technician to take our manufactured coating and apply it to medical devices using a machine process. This associate would be required to follow all safety guidelines to complete the detailed coating steps. Responsibilities: Prepare medical devices for coating per customer and quality guidelines. Measurement conversions required to complete part of this task. Arrange devices in the machine, monitor device movements throughout the machine process, unload devices and visually inspect for defects. Create labels and package the final product for shipment. Assist in resolving equipment issues alongside your team. Write coating procedures and/or other work instructions. Record materials used and collect data during the coating process.
