Comprehensive Ophthalmologist opening in Burlington, MALocated in Burlington, MA Full-time, permanent positionSeeking a General Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic Division of OphthalmologyAbout Position & Facility:Join a dynamic ophthalmology service with 16 ophthalmologists and 8 optometrists.Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care.Participate in resident teaching (affiliated University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine residency program).Collaborate with colleagues on clinical, academic, and administrative projects.Research interests are welcomed and supported.Opportunity for academic appointments at the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine.Potential involvement in international teaching and service (Egypt, Turkey, and El Salvador).State-of-the-Art Facilities & Equipment:Four modern and fully equipped offices.State-of-the-art surgical facility in Peabody.Operating rooms equipped with LenSx, Centurion phacoemulsification machines, Zeiss Lumera microscopes, ORA system, ECP, and MicroPulse laser unit.Clinics equipped with Argon, SLT, Nd:YAG lasers, OCTs, Optos, Visual fields, ERGs.Anterior segment OCT imaging and dry eye management/treatment technologies (LipiScan, LipiView, IPL).Requirements:Board certified or eligible in Ophthalmology.Excellent surgical and clinical skills.About Location:Burlington, MA, with a population of around 25,000, is a thriving suburb located just north of Boston.
