Advant Solutions Job DescriptionLast Reviewed: Wednesday, March 4, 2026Title: EAC Junior Sales Solutions ConsultantDepartment: SalesPay Status: ExemptReports To: Director of Business DevelopmentJob SummaryThe primary focus of this role will be to support the sales team in developing, positioning, and delivering low voltage access control and smart building solutions for multifamily and student housing communities. This role serves as a technical and consultative resource, assisting in solution design, scope development, proposal creation, and customer presentations.Essential FunctionsFrequently required to sit, bend, reach, grab and twist.Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.Strong ability to interpret and process data.Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust and focus.Frequently required to type, process information and use fine finger manipulation.Job FunctionsDrive growth opportunities for electronic access control solutions from the architect and developer level.Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.Support end users with on-site presence when needed, including but not limited to tech support, onsite-training and customer appreciation events.Attend industry events and functions.Monitors travel expenses to budget and executes monthly expense report.Act as the onsite Advant representative when needed at customer meeting and market events.Assist in the development of pricing and positioning strategies in line with the overall Advant business strategy.Coordinate and collaborate with the Top Notch Bid Administration Team to grow project/job quotes.Maintain and utilize the Advant CRM platform for sales reporting and customer sales activities.Maintain relationships with manufacturers or Independent Rep after-market associates.Generate and qualify new customer leads while developing existing core Advant accounts.Assist Advant Project Manager's in determining product sourcing strategies leveraging Top Notch and Advant inventory.Assist with site walks that provide valuable information for quote development.Use P21 to search and analyze product data, including inventory availability, stocking status, and pricing structures, to support the bid and quotation process.Assist with scheduling site evaluations when needed that may be out-of-territory.Assist with after-the-sale replacement product when necessary.Work with Advant Multi Family team on cross-selling opportunities.Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of company products, solutions, and applications to effectively support customer needs.Assist with new product evaluations.Assist in organizing vendor training programs by coordinating schedules, confirming logistics, and communicating session details to team members.Job RequirementsMust have strong organizational skills.Must be an entrepreneurial team player who can work in a fast-paced environment.Self-reliant, problem solver who is results oriented.Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive team player.Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.Willing to travel 35% of time.Strong business acumen with proven strategic planning and a track record of profitable growth.Experience with the implementation of growth, new business development, and marketing initiatives that lead to stronger market advantages.Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute/implement on strategic initiatives.Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask.Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented.Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives.Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management.Willing and able to travel 35% of time.EducationBachelor's Degree preferred (or at least one).Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.A minimum of 10 years combined Commercial/Residential Door Hardware experience.J-18808-Ljbffr
