This position is Full time and will work 10-hour Day Shifts.Under general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for the performance of advance cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures.Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Provides age-appropriate care (e.g., assists with data collection and providing care) for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.Required Qualifications:Graduate of ARRT School, or equivalent education/ experienceCalifornia Radiologic Technologist upon hireNational Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hireNational Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Preferred Qualifications:Additional training in angiocardiography, or equivalent education/ experienceAdvanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospitalRecruiter Submission Template -Full Name:Degree Major with University / Institution and Completion Year:Total Years of Experience as a Cardiovascular / Interventional Technologist:Do you hold an active California Radiologic Technologist license?Do you hold active ARRT National Certification?Do you hold current BLS certification (American Heart Association)?Experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab?Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or Interventional experience?Experience with angiocardiography procedures?Advanced ARRT registration in Cardiovascular / Interventional Imaging?Comfortable working 10-hour day shifts, full-time?
