SCADA Developer – Oil & Gas - Spring, TXJoin a leading Oil & Gas company committed to innovation and operational excellence. We're seeking a SCADA Systems Engineer to support and maintain industrial automation systems using the Ignition SCADA platform. This role will focus on creating new facilities, integrating field devices, troubleshooting communications and database issues, and ensuring reliable 24/7 SCADA operations.Major ResponsibilitiesCreate, test, and configure new facilities within Ignition SCADA softwareCollaborate with field technicians to resolve issues and validate new devicesWork alongside support staff to ensure 24/7 availability of the SCADA systemTroubleshoot communications, device configuration, tag definitions, and SQL table entriesTop 3 Required Technologies Experience3+ years of Ignition SCADA software – Proven expertise developing, configuring, and deploying solutions within Ignition3+ years of Industrial Protocols – Strong hands-on experience with Modbus, Allen-Bradley (AB), Emerson, MQTT, DNP33+ years of SQL – Advanced ability to work with SQL databases, including structure, queries, and integrationSkills RequirementStrong knowledge of database structure and usageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated aptitude for creative problem-solvingExperience working with various types of automation controllersAbility to collaborate effectively with project teams, Operations, and customersStrong desire and motivation to learn and grow
