This role offers the chance to redefine social studies education, building meaningful bridges between learners and the human story.What You Will Be DoingLeveraging AI to create interactive learning experiences that render historical moments and geographic concepts vivid and lasting for students.Examining student performance data to identify trends that shape adaptive learning paths, making each individual's educational experience both compelling and productive.Building advanced digital tools that animate historical personalities and world environments, from time-spanning virtual experiences to rich cultural immersions.Working with cross-functional teams of educators and technology specialists to develop breakthrough methods that reshape social studies instruction and engagement.Converting intricate historical and geographical ideas into accessible, compelling material enriched through AI-powered customization.What You Won’t Be DoingOverseeing conventional curriculum structures or getting mired in administrative tasks—this position centers on innovation and tangible educational outcomes.Working in isolation—you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of specialists focused on advancing the field.Relying on traditional textbook approaches—your contributions will transform student engagement with history and geography.Curriculum Developer Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve quantifiable gains in students' command of social studies material, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential historical and geographic principles through pioneering, AI-enhanced teaching methods.Basic RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.About 2 Hour LearningEducation is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
