Delivery Driver

Job DescriptionThe Standard Group, a premier print management and marketing logistics company, is seeking a Driver to help grow our team in our Print and Technology Center in Lititz, PA. The primary purpose of the Driver position is to assure on-time delivery and pick up of materials, acts as a representative of The Standard Group and responsible for compliance with all DOT Regulations and driving laws. A valid driver's license with a good record is required. A commercial driver's license is a plus.The Standard Group offers a salary commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, medical, dental and 401K. Background checks may be required.Responsibilities:Drives company vehicle to deliver finished goods to customers and transport material between facilities. Loads and unloads trucks using lift equipment. Prepares shipments for delivery. Including all necessary paperwork, driving directions and any customer specific delivery instructions. Secure and inspect load before hauling. Represents The Standard Group in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with customers, vendors, and carriers. Performs minor services of delivery vehicles as needed. Reports any problems with vehicle to shipping manager. Keeps vehicle clean and neat at all times. Complies with all policies in the employee handbook and all relevant local, state, federal, and OSHA safety regulations. Know, understand and observe the rules and regulations of the Department of TransportationCompletes required logs and reports daily as needed. May make local deliveries using company vehicles or personal vehicle. Performs any other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor. These duties are nonessential and marginal functions of the position. Knowledge and Skills Required:Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. General understanding of computers. Good math and counting skills. A valid driver's license with a good record. A commercial driver's license or willingness to obtain one is a plus. Strong interpersonal communications skill. Experience with bills of lading and associated Shipping/Receiving paperwork. Must be able to operate lift and material handling equipment.
