Radio Frequency Engineer

About the Role Within a Connected Mobility-focused engineering team, this role contributes to advancing vehicle technology, including next-generation connectivity solutions such as 5G and integrated antenna systems. The team designs and manufactures products that enable reliable data transfer for autonomous and connected vehicles.We are seeking an engineer responsible for the design, development, and technical performance of RF-related products. This role also provides technical expertise to product development teams and supports test methods required for RF product development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign low-noise amplifier (LNA) circuits using computer-aided RF/EM simulation tools; develop prototype samples and evaluate performance in both vehicle and component-level test environments (up to 10GHz).Fabricate and test LNA designs for vehicle applications such as GNSS, satellite radio, AM/FM, DAB, and passive circuitry for cellular 5G, V2X, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and other wireless systems.Evaluate and characterize LNA performance through RF testing, including gain, noise figure, impedance matching, intermodulation, isolation, and optimization.Document project activities through detailed written reports.Prepare and deliver technical presentations to support team discussions and decision-making.Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, validation, manufacturing, and project management teams to develop products through to launch, ensuring quality and KPI targets are met.Manage project tasks and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.Support project and manufacturing teams as needed.Propose value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) solutions, including alternative components in response to supply changes.Evaluate and implement software tools and test equipment to improve development efficiency and reduce design cycle time.Research market trends and emerging technologies to enhance product competitiveness.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.3+ years of experience in LNA design and product development.5+ years of experience in RF/electrical engineering or electromagnetic fields.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Experience in analog signal design and development.Experience in the automotive industry, including familiarity with OEM development processes and requirements.
