Job Description:
· Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
· Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products.
· Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
· Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports, and recommend corrective actions.
· Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes.
· Oversees testing department activities and work of inspectors.
· Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags.
· Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures.
· Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including: customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
· Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management.
· May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
· Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
· Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
· Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
What is a typical work day?
· Test environment, the technician are running the environment test for TR3 – verification and documentation before the units get put in the test environment.
· Watching over the technician to make sure they using the right tool and verifying the documents and using updated procedure.
· They have different types of tests that they run at different levels.
· They have had several issues with the testing’s and are looking for someone to help with quality.
· The contractor will be watching the test, looking at the documentation and overall oversight of testing and validation of testing.
