As a Seasonal Hardware Store Associate, you will assist customers with their hardware needs, stock shelves, and maintain a clean and organized store. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for home improvement and DIY projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide knowledgeable advice on hardware, tools, and home improvement products. Assist with product selection and provide recommendations based on customer needs. Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure the store is well-organized. Perform regular inventory checks and assist in product ordering. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees. Operate cash register and process transactions accurately. Assist with any other duties as needed. KEY ATTRIBUTES Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Basic knowledge of hardware products, tools, and home improvement projects preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
