Oracle Database Engineer - Hybrid, Clearance-Ready

It sounds like a lot of data and analytics, but really, it's about improving the world and keeping safe the places we call home.As a Database Engineer, you will be responsible for working within a software engineering team to design and develop software solutions utilizing an Oracle database backend. You'll be creating new relational database models, improving, and extending existing models, and writing queries and stored procedures in collaboration with other database engineers. You will be responsible for making decisions on partitioning, indexing, and structure to ensure the product performs optimally and reliably under demanding and diverse use cases.LOCATION : this is a hybrid opportunity with the requirement to commute to the Lincoln office twice a week.RESPONSIBILITIES:Work as a part of a development team to implement features with a focus on the design and implementation of the Oracle database model and procedures supporting these featuresDiagnosing Oracle database issues including reviewing reports and debugging procedures and database scriptsCollaborate with others to devise solutions to complex data problemsExperience with data modeling, indexing, partitioning, and stored proceduresEligible for United States Government Security ClearanceExperience solving complex problemsExpertise in database optimization that results in maximum performance and scaleAccountabilityExcellent communications, both written and verbal, and able to communicate ideas concisely and clearly to others#J-18808-Ljbffr
