The successful candidate will have academic advising experience in a higher education setting and excellent oral and written communication skills.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide holistic and intrusive advising to students using NACADA standards and bestPractices via Zoom advising appointments. This duty is performed regularly. Guide students through the process of identifying strengths and interests, formulatingpersonalized educational plans, selecting classes, and developing strategies for academicsuccess and a successful student experience. This duty is performed regularly. Work closely with faculty members and academic deans to develop and deliver highquality academic advising professional development programs. This duty is performedregularly. Assist with answering advising emails as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in mathematics, social science, business or related field required.Background Check StatementThis position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check.
