This position is based out of our headquarters office, south of downtown St. Paul where we welcome an on-site work environment.What You’ll Do…Grow & Strengthen Existing Customer Relationships (60%)You’ll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of established customers, focused on retention, growth, and long-term success.Cultivate trusted relationships to maintain and expand existing accountsMeet or exceed assigned sales quotas through consistent, value-driven outreachDevelop deep knowledge of Scanlan Single Use products, the industry, and your assigned territoryLeverage customer history, preferences, and prior activity to drive repeat businessExecute timely and professional follow-up after calls, inquiries, and customer interactionsShare customer insights and sales activity updates with the broader sales teamIncrease revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and reactivating dormant accountsCreate and execute a business development plan outlining the activity required to meet territory goalsDevelop New Customer Relationships (20%)You’ll actively expand Scanlan’s reach by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective customers.Identify and contact new prospects within your assigned territoryProvide product information, content, and pre-sales support to prospective customersPartner with sales specialists, regional managers, and distributor representatives to convert leads into salesPromote and sell new products as they are introducedRespond to inbound leads from the website, tradeshows, and other channels in a timely mannerConsistently meet or exceed daily outbound call targetsRepresent Scanlan professionally in all customer interactionsManage Sales Data & Support Sales Initiatives (20%)Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for customers, activities, and opportunitiesTrack and document follow-ups, tradeshow leads, and resulting salesGenerate reports, forecasts, and KPI dashboards to monitor sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue performanceAnalyze sales data and present insights and recommendations to leadershipSupport sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, and product sample distributionParticipate in sales meetings, tradeshows, and event preparation 2-3 times a yearWhat We’re Looking For…2+ years of B2B inside sales or account management experience.High School Diploma or equivalentA relationship-focused sales professional with strong communication skillsA self-starter who can manage priorities and follow through consistentlyComfort working toward activity targets, sales quotas, and performance metricsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailCRM and sales reporting experience preferredWhy Scanlan?At Scanlan, you’ll be part of a collaborative sales team that values accountability, insight, and continuous growth.
