Work Hours: 10am-7pmHandling incoming calls and emails: Answering patient inquiries regarding billing statements, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, pre-authorization for procedures, and general healthcare information.Patient registration and demographic updates: Verifying patient information and updating records as needed.Insurance verification and eligibility checks: Confirming patient insurance coverage and benefits.Claims processing and follow-up: Assisting with submitting insurance claims and following up on outstanding claims.Patient navigation: Directing patients to the appropriate healthcare provider or department based on their needs.Addressing patient concerns and complaints: Listening to patient issues, investigating concerns, and finding solutions to resolve complaints in a timely manner.Providing information on medical services and treatment options: Explaining procedures, costs, and potential side effects to patients in a clear and understandable way.Maintaining patient confidentiality: Adhering to HIPAA regulations by protecting sensitive patient information.Staying updated on healthcare policies and procedures: Keeping knowledge current on insurance guidelines, billing codes, and healthcare regulations.
