Makes daily rounds of patients. Assesses response to medications, treatments, and interventions. Evaluates status and complaints of patients. Orders laboratory tests at request of the Supervising Physician. Orders diagnostic tests at request of the Supervising Physician. Administers and/or orders medications upon request of the Supervising Physician. Someone to see consults, write notes. Would be helpful to perform small bedside procedures (ie ultrasound guided para and thoracentesis).
