Painter

We are seeking hard-working, reliable, experienced full-time commercial and residential painters to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. \*\* This specific job is located in Ormond Beach, Florida. Ideally, we would like to hire someone that is in Jacksonville who is willing to drive to Ormond Beach (temporarily) or someone who lives in the St. Augustine/Ormond Beach area. *You MUST have professional painting experience* to be considered for this position. Performance Painting offers all employees: * Upward mobility at every level * A professional atmosphere * Dependable growth, allowing new opportunities *Benefits:* * Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance * 401(k) with Employer matching * Paid Time Off During travel: * $125 Daily Per Diem * Additional $2 per hour while traveling * Drive time for long commutes *Responsibilities* * Assist crew leaders with setting up materials, tools, and other equipment * Must follow all OSHA, health and safety rules and regulations at all times * Expect to always to be learning with the ability to adapt to change * Must be able to travel all over Florida and the surrounding areas * Must also be available for local work in Jacksonville, FL *Qualifications* * Valid driver's license with clean driving record * Ability to successfully pass a background check * Have at least 1 + years of commercial painting experience. * Experience using paint sprayers * Experience working with lifts * Be able to lift 50 lbs. - 5 minutes per instance – up to a dozen times a day * Exposure to natural elements, such as heat and cold, up to 12 hours per day with periodic breaks * Be able to stand consistently for up to 3 hours at a time * Kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl for 2-3 hours minimum without a break, up to 12 hours with multiple breaks in between * Operate lifts, pressure washers, spray pumps, and other equipment along with hand tools - 2-3 hours without a break, up to 12 hours with multiple breaks in between Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Experience: * Commercial painting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
