To contribute to the overall success of the business and maximize sales while controlling costs. Constantly ensuring a quality and positive workspace while holding staff to Eberly standards.Financials:Analyze operational statements and period budgets to ensure we are making appropriate financial decisionsKeeping labor / COGS percentages in line by adjusting with volumeIdentify creative activations that are profitable and on brandOverseeing payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on schedule while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulationsAuditing direct operating costs to ensure proper categorization for purchasing Kitchen: Providing feedback for anticipated dishesWorking closely with the chef team to provide feedback, but also assist on making their department run smoothly when directly impacted by serviceCommunicating event BEO's and ensuring alignment between FOH & BOHTracking comps that can be reviewed for improvement of dishesMenu matrix updatesExpo knowledge aligned with kitchen practicesEvents:Review and Pre-shift of BEO's with the staffKnowing and understanding the details of events that are current and upcomingAssisting in the execution of eventsAccurately matching financials that the events team provideOffering tours to guests in place of events teamAssisting in the planning of internal events such as NYE, Rosé Soiree which are typically leaded by the FOH management teamBeverage:Overseeing and assisting departments in charge of LBWCreating positive and beneficial relationships with vendors General: Inspiring and cultivating a high performing, engaged teamUnderstanding and assisting in the creation of the weekly schedule for hourly staff written by the operations managerSigning and writing checksHighly proficient in reservation systems and booking platformsUpdating all operational systems (Toast, Asana, etc.)Website management for menu updates, closures, events, etc.Assistance in hiring of all positionsAdvanced working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft WordConducting employee reviews and evaluationsScheduling department meetingsMaintaining an accurate training manual for new FOH staffCreating and maintaining standard operating proceduresMaintain the cleanliness of the restaurantHold staff and management accountable and ensuring follow through on ideas and projectsManaging floor service, running pre-shift and making sure the restaurant is set properly dailyAbility to manage repairs and maintenance by sourcing competitive quotes and ensuring timely completion of workResponsible for maintaining all required permits and ensuring ongoing regulatory complianceAddressing staff relations and HR matters proactively, including conflict resolution, policy guidance, and team supportContributing to the preparation of evening summary reports shared with managers, chefs, and ownershipOpening and closing dutiesOpenness and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, analytics, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracyShift operations that include but are not limited to comps, cuts, managing the books, supporting busy departments, delegating closing responsibilities, guest interaction, tours of the space, event management, etc.Education/ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of management experience in upscale hospitalityKnowledge of the Austin food and beverage landscape and hospitality community
