Job SummaryTool & Fixture Specialists analyze drawings and specifications to perform precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting of components to make and repair tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Works within very tight tolerances. Uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.Shift: First ShiftTUE-FRI, 6:00AM - 4:30PMDuties and Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsFollows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fabrication, fitting, and repair of components to assemble unitsCalibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionalityInspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustmentsWorks independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.Gaining proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
