Senior Financial Analyst

Company Overview:We are a dynamic and growing company specializing in managing general agents (MGAs) and insurance fee businesses. With a workforce of 700 employees primarily based in the UK, Nordics, and Spain, and a small but significant presence in the US, we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst-FP&A.Summary: This position will be working directly with the Head of FP&A. The role will assist the company to help build processes and reporting tools focusing on efficiency and accurate data for senior management. Primary focuses will be on budgeting, forecasting, reporting and standardizing KPI’s.Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Build templates to help management analyze financial data to help identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Build forecasts that guide budgeting and strategic planning.Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for various departments and offices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between budgeted and actual performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with senior management and department heads to gather information, present findings, and support strategic initiatives.Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting and analysis.Qualifications: Required:2-4 years of experience as Financial Analyst focused in FP&AExperience working with Oracle and HyperionExperience working in private equity or Insurance Industry preferredAbility to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structureSelf-motivated team player with the proven ability to work independently and prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsExcellent Excel skillsThis job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
