PLC Programmer

Job Summary: We are seeking a detailed-oriented PLC Programmer to design, develop, test, and maintain programmable logic controller (PLC) systems for automated equipment and processes. Will be responsible for bringing the visions for the equipment ideas to life. Key Responsibilities: Design, write, and debug PLC code using different platformsInterpret and work from electrical schematics and system layoutsConduct on-site installation, testing and commissioning of automated equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve PLC and network communication issues in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols and project specifications Maintain detailed documentation of software revisions, writing changes and control logic Qualifications:Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology or related field 2+ years of experience in PLC programmingHands-on experienceExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to travel on-site support Work Environment: May involve occasional lifting, climbing and extended standing during fieldworkWillingness to work occasional weekends or off-hours during critical project phases
