To Apply: Please email resume, cover letter, and completed SFARCH Employment application (https://tinyurl.com/2uy5h686) to Alexandra Iwaszewicz, Principal, principalsj@stjohnseagles.com Qualifications and job description: This is a part-time, non-exempt position. ● Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (required) ● Valid California teaching credential (Multiple Subject or Education Specialist preferred) ● Certification in Special Education or Resource Specialist Program (RSP) credential strongly preferred Experience ● Minimum 2 years teaching experience, ideally in a small group or intervention setting ● Experience providing both push-in (in-class) and pull-out (small group) academic support ● Familiarity with working in Catholic school settings and alignment with Catholic values (preferred) ● Experience supporting students with IEPs, 504 Plans, or informal accommodation plans Skills & Competencies ● Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Response to Intervention (RTI) ● Ability to plan and deliver targeted academic interventions in reading, writing, and math across TK–8 grades ● Skilled in working within the classroom environment (push-in) as well as leading focused intervention sessions (pull-out) ● Proficient in data collection, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers and families ● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, and staff ● Ability to manage schedules and caseloads across multiple grade levels and classrooms ● Familiarity with tools such as Lexia, ST Math, STAR assessments, or similar program Salary: $25-$30 per hour STATEMENT OF NON-DISCRIMINATION St. John School adheres to the following policy: “All school staff of Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of San Francisco shall be employed without regard to race, color, sex, ethnic or national origin and will consider for employment, qualified applicants with criminal histories.” (Administrative Handbook #4111.4)
