Director of Operations
Responsibilities: Manage all daily operations of the manufacturing plant, including hiring, training, and motivating staff at all levels.
Key Functions:
Develop and manage manufacturing budgets and ensure operations stay within financial guidelines.
Oversee efficient, safe, and high-quality product manufacturing.
Develop and enforce production, quality, and safety policies and procedures.
Create and manage production schedules to meet KPIs and cost-effectiveness goals.
Provide leadership and development to subordinates to meet objectives.
Implement and improve safety procedures and ensure compliance.
Develop and execute yearly manufacturing plans to meet business objectives.
Maintain performance standards and align manufacturing with company vision and priorities.
Establish and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations.
Ensure timely production of high-quality products.
Conduct performance appraisals and ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
Adhere to QMS, GMP, and 5S processes.
Estimate costs and set quality standards.
Manage manufacturing operations per company guidelines and implement Best Practice Tools and Processes.
Assess staffing and skill requirements and develop plans to meet these needs.
Ensure compliance with environmental policies.
Required:
BS degree or 15+ years of relevant experience.
5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in planning, organizing, and directing manufacturing activities.
Strong leadership and management skills.
