Cannabis Processing Associate

Theory Wellness is seeking a full time Processing Associate to work Tuesday-Saturday from 8am to 4pm at our facility in Auburn, Maine. A Processing Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all of the duties listed below: Responsibilities will include: Initiate the pre-roll production process by grinding, screening, weighing and labeling the material Gain Understanding of Leaf Logics & Metrc Work to meet or exceed all production quotas Follow compliance regulations Gain Understanding of department KPI metrics Comply with company and department policy Loading and unloading marijuana into drying and curing areas. Monitoring and reporting the status of drying and curing cannabis Performing clean up of cultivation and processing areas after a harvest is complete Meet or exceed all production quotas Ensure compliance with all Cannabis Control Commision regulations Responsible for helping set up for daily tasks/objectives Ability to be trained in all general areas of the processing department Display initiative for meeting company goals Ensure that we have the correct amount of material for our products ( pre-packaged flower and prerolls of varying sizes) All other tasks assigned Full Time Employee Benefits: (part-time*) Health/Dental/Vision/Life Pet Insurance*/Legal Plan*/EAP* Paid time off* Employee discounts* Employee Stock Ownership Plan (some locations) Requirements: Dexterous and used to working with hands. Strong attention to detail. A passionate disposition towards cannabis and being a part of a bigger picture to help and care for people. Previous trimming experience is a plus but not required 21 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a CORI background check Ability to locate and understand department production sheets Stand and walk for extended amounts of time Ability to stand or sit for 8+ hours per day while working. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to follow directions and perform repetitive tasks accurately. Repetitively use your hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, cutting and fine manipulation Valid Driver’s License Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday from 8am to 4pm Ability to become forklift certified ( Not required but desirable) Theory Wellness Inc. is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
