Permatex is looking for a skilled 2nd Shift Chemical Mixer to support our manufacturing operations and help deliver high-performance products our customers rely on every day.If you take pride in accuracy, follow process with discipline, and value working on a team that puts safety first — we want to hear from you.🔬 What You’ll DoAs a Chemical Mixer, you’ll play a critical role in producing quality materials safely and efficiently.Accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials (manual & automated processes)Manufacture materials according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer systemsRead and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Perform routine batch quality checks to ensure product integrityMonitor mixes and shut down operations if specifications are not metSanitize mixing equipment per scheduled work instructionsAssist in training new mixers and support other production lines as neededPromote, follow, and recommend improvements to safety proceduresSupport general manufacturing operations as required✅ What You BringHigh School Diploma or GED3–4 years of batch mixing experience (hand cleaner or related chemical manufacturing preferred)Strong computer skills and comfort working with manufacturing softwareLift truck certification (low-lift, fork-lift, and high-lift)Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and consistencyStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety🌟 Why Permatex?At Permatex, we don’t just manufacture products — we manufacture quality, reliability, and innovation.
