This travel nursing opportunity is perfect for Cardiac Stepdown RNs and Cardiology RNs who specialize in telemetry, remote device monitoring, and cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRTs. Key Responsibilities (Cardiac Stepdown / Cardiology RN) Provide comprehensive nursing care in a high-volume cardiology clinic, including cardiovascular assessments and triage for acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Manage patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs): pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs—perform in-clinic and remote device interrogations. document findings and escalate per clinic protocols. Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiology teams to optimize device programming and patient care plans. Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for device implantation: patient prep, wound assessment, complication monitoring, and discharge education. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, telemetry standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements in both in-person and remote monitoring workflows.
