Thank you.Location: Hybrid-Portland, OR areaType: CTHAs a Technical Leader you'll work with Information Technology and business partners to perform analysis, technical documentation, coding, installation, ongoing support and team leadership. You'll collaborate with our business and technical teams to define business problems in detail and establish functional, data and technical activities, including conceptual system design, technical design and documenting detailed specifications. You'll also work with other technical leads to plan new releases, explain requirements, direct a team of other application engineers in development efforts and resolve problems. In addition, you'll diagnose issues and ensure technical solutions meet performance and quality requirements in production. You’ll be a key member of the team, enabling application engineering efforts across the enterprise.Tech Lead Application Engineer Requirements include:Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, or equivalent 9 years of experience in Information Technology6+ years writing code in C#Experience with Java is a plus but not requiredExperience creating automated unit testExperience with Web-Service (REST) frameworksStrong understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns6 years OO software dev6 years working on enterprise level multi-tiered business appsSolid understanding of SQLCloud expertise (Azure or AWS)Solid understanding of HTTP (headers, protocol, verbs, etc.)JavaScript/TypeScript experienceSolid understanding of SPA (React, Angular 2+)React Native experience highly desiredModern CSS & HTML ProficiencyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation experienceAbility to understand challenges or concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responsesAbility to provide engineering task work effort estimates.Proven ability to analyze performance issues using java/.net profiling toolsProven ability to work in a Test-Driven Development mannerProven experience working in conjunction with Project Managers, Account Mangers, Business
