Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Camp Nurse at Brooklyn Jesuit Prep’s summer leadership camp located in New York, NY. The Camp Nurse will be responsible for assessing and addressing the health needs of students, providing first aid and emergency care, administering medications, managing health records, and promoting overall health and wellness during camp sessions. The Camp Nurse will collaborate closely with camp staff to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of participants and maintain a safe camp environment. Qualifications Strong clinical skills, including first aid, administering medications, and responding to medical emergenciesExperience managing health records and adherence to health and safety regulationsAbility to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff in a compassionate and professional mannerStrong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate health-related procedures and systemsPrevious experience working with children or in a camp setting is preferredMust hold a valid nursing license (e.g., RN or LPN) and be certified in CPR and First AidUnderstanding of and commitment to the mission, values, and goals of Brooklyn Jesuit Prep
