Machine OperatorSet-up, program, operate and tear down and trouble-shoot various manufacturing machinery.Essential Functions:Obtain materials from supervisorSet-up, operate and tear down machinesPerform various machine operation support tasksMaintain schedule based on production demand through supervisorMaintain all machinery, keep work area clean, neat and organizedTrouble-shoot equipment and document problemsMaintain proper paperwork specific to each jobEffectively communicate problems and possible solutions to Engineering and/or Shift SupervisorComputer operation may be requiredMiscellaneous assembly and packaging activitiesOther tasks as requiredMachine Operator Level IThe Level I Machine Operator position must be proficient in the operation of at least two machines within three months of start:Full knowledge of all safety issues relating to machinesSet-up of all parts run on machine with minimum supervisionLevel I Machinery Specific Trained to operate at least two of the following machines:WelderJumbo TubesTube LuberMajesticManual Pad PrintingMachine Operator Level IIHas ability to operate at least four out of the five Level I machinery and one level II machine.The Level II Machine Operator position has knowledge of all essential functions of this position.Full knowledge of all safety issues relating to machinesSet-up of all parts run on machine with minimum supervisionLevel II Machinery Specific Trained to operate at least one of the following machines:BrushesAuto Pad Print and NeedletubesOravet wax line occasional onlyFlocking RoomMachine Operator Level III-AAbility to operate at least four Level I machines and at least two Level II machines.The Level III-A Machine Operator position has knowledge of all essential functions of this position.Ability to operate all of the machines in which training was received.Set-up of all parts run on machine in which training was received.Troubleshoot all machinery in operations in which training was received.Machine Operator Level III-BAbility to operate at least four Level I machines and at least two Level II machines. Also, has the ability to operate the fill form seal machine.The Level III-B Machine Operator position has knowledge of all essential functions of this position.Ability to operate all of the machines in which training was received.Set-up of all parts run on machine in which training was received.Troubleshoot all machinery in operations in which training was received.Trained in the basic operation to serve as a back-up for Level III-B and work in conjunction with production staff to run the:Level III-B Machinery Specific Trained in the basic operation of:Form Fill SealMachine Operator Level IVAbility to lead the operation of the Form Fill Seal machine and organize production staff accordingly for operation of the machine.Ability to operate the form fill seal machine.Set-up of all parts run on the form fill seal machineTroubleshoot all machinery in conjunction with the from fill seal machineIs not required to operate or receive training on other machines besides the form fill seal as a prerequisite.Can operate other machines in which training was received.Level IV Machinery Specific Trained in all of the following machine:Form Fill SealRequirementsQualifications, Skills, Abilities Required:Good mathematical skills, good mechanical aptitudeAbility to learn quickly and work independentlyAbility to maneuver 50 lbs.Good hand dexterity and repetitive movement of both hands requiredGood organizational and time management skillsComputer literacyEducation, Experience Required:High school diploma
