DescriptionRole SummaryThe BDC Lead is responsible for owning the performance and execution of the BDC department across Internet and Phone. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, with direct accountability for appointment set rates, show rates, closing performance, CRM accuracy, and year-over-year growth.In addition, the BDC Manager will fully own AI, including setup, execution, monitoring, and optimization of text broadcasts, ensuring they are used strategically and consistently to drive appointments and sold volume.This role is intended to empower you to lead the department, not just manage tasks.Core Areas of OwnershipDepartment PerformanceTake ownership of Internet and Phone lead performance, including:Appointment set %Appointment shown %Closing %Sold volumeMonitor daily, weekly, and monthly results and proactively address gaps.Leadership & CoachingServe as the day-to-day leader for the BDC team.Coach team on scripting, follow-up strategy, call quality, and appointment confirmation.Conduct regular call and lead reviews to drive improvement.Set expectations, reinforce standards, and help build a high-performing, accountable culture.AI OwnershipFully own AI for the store, including:Strategy and execution of Matador text broadcastsMonitoring responses, appointment outcomes, and sold resultsEnsuring broadcasts are timely, relevant, and aligned with store goalsPartner with management to identify opportunities where AI can drive incremental appointments and volume.Act as the primary point of accountability for Matador performance and usage.CRM Accuracy & Process ControlEnsure accurate lead source attribution, appointment statuses, and sold reporting.Regularly audit campaigns to confirm accuracy.Identify process breakdowns and recommend improvements.Compensation & AccountabilityThis role includes:Hourly base payMonthly performance-based bonuses tied directly to:Internet and Phone performance metricsYear-over-year volume growthWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleStrong, consistent BDC performance across all key metricsEffective and strategic use of Matador and text broadcastsClean, reliable reporting and CRM dataA motivated, well-coached BDC teamClear ownership of results - wins and opportunities alike
