Senior Leave of Absence Analyst
Leave AdministratorThis position will coordinate with Workday and Leave Administration Partners, to provide in-house administration of leaves of absence including but not limited to: FMLA, State Leave, STD, LTD, Military leaves, and unpaid personal leaves. This position will also coordinate leave with disability insurance benefits, and paid time off programs. Additionally, this position will communicate with management and teammates regarding the status of teammate leave of absence working specifically with the teammates to return to work. Bi-lingual is a plus.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Administers FMLA and non FMLA leave of absence programsCoordinates the leave program using several databases, Workday, TAM, ADP, LFGWorks with Leave Partner to coordinate the Leave of Absence per company policyFacilitates leave and appropriate leave status via WorkdayCommunicates with teammates regarding completed certification and recertification formsNotifies teammates of the status of their group benefit coverage, rights and obligations, and requirements for returning to workCoordinates communication between teammates and managers during the leaveAnswers questions from teammates and managers regarding FMLA and non FMLA leaves of absenceCoordinates the return-to-work process for FMLA and non FMLA leaves of absenceReceives requests for other types of disability related leave, including, but not limited to, leave requested as a reasonable accommodation under the ADA and leave arising out of a work related injury or illnessCoordinates with other internal departments and external insurance companies to coordinate the payment of paid time off benefits and disability leave benefitsCommunicates with teammates and managers regarding leave designation and status to returnMaintains teammate leave information in databases and performs other tasks to ensure accuracy of teammate leaves of absenceProvides reports from various databases to management on leave statusEnsures confidentiality of teammate medical and leave records is maintained and ensures continued compliance with HIPAA Privacy laws.Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of relevant laws including, but not limited to, FMLA, ADA, workers compensation, and HIPPA Privacy,Identifies and attends professional development programs as appropriate.Performs other duties as assigned.Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business, or related fieldAt least 3 years' experience working in a same or similar role administering FMLA and non FMLA LOA's;Or an equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to communicate complicated legal requirements in plain English so they are easily understood by teammates and managerStrong written and verbal skillsCustomer service focusedExperience working with Excel, Word, and database systemsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and procedure manuals.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general publicAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formThis Company is an equal opportunity employer.Caliber uses E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
