About Us:Advanced Structural Design, Inc. is a Florida-based structural engineering firm with a strong track record in education, commercial, and municipal projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 4 years of experience to lead and execute structural design work from concept to construction.Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed structural analysis and design of building systems (steel, concrete, wood, and masonry)Prepare complete structural drawing sets and calculation packagesReview geotechnical reports and coordinate foundation designDevelop framing schemes and efficient structural systemsAnalyze loads in accordance with FBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and other applicable codesReview shop drawings and respond to RFIs during constructionCollaborate with architects and consultants to coordinate structural designConduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions or construction progressQualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering4+ years of structural engineering experience with buildingsProficiency in structural design software (RISA, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, etc.)Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD for structural documentation is a plusStrong technical judgment and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with K-12 or public sector project requirements is a plusPreferred Traits:Hands-on designer who takes ownership of engineering solutionsDetail-oriented with a strong understanding of constructabilityAbility to work independently and manage multiple design tasksBenefits:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, vision insurancePTO and holidaysAnnual BonusSupport for continuing education and licensure
