For all locations as needed - Emergency after hours work as needed - Shift/schedule may change as needed.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipmentEnsure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deterioratePerform a daily inspection of the facility grounds, dorms and officesComplete daily duties assigned by Maintenance SupervisorQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, a/c, and machine equipment repair.G.E.D or High School Diploma or equivalent experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:OSHA regulations, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and machine/equipment repair.Experience working with vulnerable populations.Ability to be professional, flexible, respectful, and calm.Ability to work well with others.Ability to lead by example.Must have a Florida State Driver's License with "safe driver" classification.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Computer Literate.Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or English and Creole preferred.
