Credentialing Specialist (MD-Staff) – ContractJob Type:Contract (Remote)Overview:We are seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist with hands-on expertise in MD-Staff to support provider credentialing operations for U.S. healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in provider enrollment, primary source verification, and managing end-to-end credentialing workflows in compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform end-to-end provider credentialing and re-credentialing for physicians and allied health professionalsUtilize MD-Staff to maintain accurate and up-to-date provider recordsConduct primary source verification (PSV), including education, licensure, board certification, and work historyEnsure compliance with NCQA , Joint Commission , and client-specific requirementsManage provider enrollment with commercial payers, Medicare, and MedicaidTrack credentialing status and follow up on pending applications to ensure timely completionMaintain credentialing files and audit readiness documentationCollaborate with internal teams, clients, and providers to resolve discrepanciesPrepare reports and dashboards related to credentialing status and turnaround timesRequired Qualifications:10+ years of experience in provider credentialing within U.S. healthcareHands-on experience with MD-Staff credentialing softwareStrong knowledge of credentialing lifecycle and regulatory standards (NCQA, Joint Commission)Experience in payer enrollment (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans)Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracyStrong communication and follow-up skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a remote or offshore delivery modelFamiliarity with credentialing tools such as CAQH, PECOS, and NPPESPrior experience supporting multiple healthcare clients or large provider groupsKey Skills:Provider Credentialing & EnrollmentMD-Staff System ExpertiseRegulatory ComplianceDocumentation & Audit ManagementTime Management & Multi-tasking
