We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MDM Engineer with deep expertise in Stibo STEP to join our data team. In this role, you will lead the configuration, optimization, and governance of our Master Data Management (MDM) platform, ensuring high data quality across complex domains.Key ResponsibilitiesStibo STEP Configuration: Build and maintain object models, advanced workflows, business rules, and integration endpoints within the Stibo STEP platform.Data Matching & Survivorship: Design, implement, and fine-tune complex match/merge and survivorship rules, specifically tailored for party, account, and producer master data.Data Platform Integration: Collaborate on downstream integration, ensuring mastered records and cross-reference (xref) keys land accurately and efficiently in our Snowflake analytical platform.Enterprise Documentation: Author rigorous, audit-ready technical artifacts, including detailed configuration specs, business rule definitions, and operational runbooks.Governance & Delivery: Partner with internal data stewards to champion MDM concepts like golden records, data lineage, and source-system reconciliation.Required QualificationsStibo STEP Expertise: 2–3+ years of direct, hands-on configuration experience (object modeling, match/merge, workflows, and business rules).MDM/PIM Core Experience: 5+ years of overall experience in Master Data Management, Product Information Management, or data governance disciplines.Data Architecture Mastery: Demonstrated experience designing match/merge architectures for party, customer, or account-type master data.Analytical Platform Familiarity: Working knowledge of Snowflake with the ability to write queries and validate data delivery pipelines.Communication & Documentation: Exceptional English communication and written skills. Experience delivering documentation that meets strict corporate or regulatory audit standards.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Insurance Domain Knowledge: Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, including familiarity with Account, Producer, Broker, and Product/Coverage hierarchy concepts.Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting insurance data (e.g., NAIC, BCBS 239, statutory reporting).Modern Data Stack: Exposure to Snowflake medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold, Data Vault, or layered data stores).Certifications & Mentorship: Stibo STEP certification(s) and/or prior experience training and mentoring internal data stewards on Stibo Workbench.
