Senior Corporate Accountant

With a national footprint and continued growth initiatives, we are seeking a high-performing Senior Corporate Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a critical role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of the Company’s financial records. This individual will work cross-functionally with various departments and contribute to technical accounting matters, process enhancements, and internal control initiatives. The ideal candidate brings 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a large public or private company environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation Perform complex monthly balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies Lead components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in an accelerated close environment Assist in preparation of consolidated internal financial reports and management reporting packages Analyze account activity, identify trends, and research material variances Support external audit process by preparing schedules and serving as a liaison for audit requests Assist with technical accounting research and documentation as needed Evaluate and enhance internal controls to ensure SOX compliance (if applicable) Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
