Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner with 2+ years of experience to serve our Veteran population with separation health exams, disability claims, and primary care needs. As an advanced practice registered nurse, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. The job description includes conducting physical examinations with emphasis on range of motion measurements, diagnosing appropriate conditions, providing medical opinions, and treating chronic and acute illness across the lifespan. One of the primary requirements of this role is proficiency in typing and computer skills, as this position requires extensive charting and chart review through the Veteran’s portal. Responsibilities · Examine patients and their medical records · Diagnose and treat various health conditions and illnesses · Promote good health practices · Advance professional knowledge · Extensive chart review · Complete chart through Veteran’s portal · Thorough range of motion measurements with goniometer Skills · Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting · Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices · Knowledge of health and patient care regulations · Excellent communication skills · Strong ethics · Team spirit with a positive attitude · Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience · Valid nurse practitioner license · Valid state license · Master’s degree Background check will be required.
