Electrical Engineer

MDP Engineering Group is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for commercial buildings, including office, retail, restaurant, hospitality, and multi-family residential. You will also work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Design and implement commercial power-distribution systems Perform fault-current calculations and protective device coordination Design lighting controls and photometric calculations Prepare construction documents for electrical systems Conduct field surveys and assessments of existing electrical systems Interface with clients on a regular basis Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering 1-5 years of relevant professional experience Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes Experience with LEED Certified projects Proficient with AutoCAD, Visual, and some REVIT experience Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and prioritize workload and projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits: Competitive salary, bonus program, PTO, and benefits package (health and dental insurance, matched 401K).
