Role DescriptionThis full time position is suited for a creative marketer who is looking for an opportunity to shine. As the Graphic Designer, you will be working alongside the Marketing Manager to create visual assets for a variety of projects. At YouDecide, we obsess over the smallest details that make our brand and the creatives we produce look and feel just right. This position will require you to operate within the framework of our brand guidelines, as well as client branding guidelines to produce original and engaging content. You’d be a great fit for this position if you are incredibly motivated by engaging audiences through creative and innovative marketing campaigns. The key to this role is your ability to be creative, detailed oriented, curious, organized, self-motivated and have strong design expertise.Workplace TypeWhile we'd love to have you in our Richmond, VA office part-time, we recognize great talent isn't always local - remote candidates are welcome to apply!ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of graphic elements and visual assets for a range of print and digital media, including but not limited to eBooks, flyers, social media graphics, banners, and presentations.Proficiently use industry-standard graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite:Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and After Effects) to execute design tasks.Continuously learn, experiment with, and apply AI-powered design tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, and visual impact across projects.Ensure consistency across all communication channels, campaigns, and assets.Maintain marketing compliance and showcase brand standards across all creatives for both YouDecide brand standards, as well as our client’s brand.Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Review and proofread design materials to ensure accuracy and quality before final production or publication.Maintain organized design files, adhere to file-naming conventions, and ensure proper archiving and version control.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Collaborate with team to provide quality assurance on all marketing communications.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the team's design projects.Focus efforts to ensure projects are prioritized, completed efficiently and on time.Work as a brand advocate to engage YouDecide employees and clients in new branding and keep consistency in the look and feel of all marketing pieces.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in marketing, communications, graphic design and/or public relations.Minimum three (3) years of graphic design and content marketing.Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.Strong eye for details and design.A portfolio showcasing your design skills and work samples is required.Proficiency in Outlook & Microsoft 360 products (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud. (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)Proficiency in project management tools. (Monday, Trello).Familiarity or entry-level understanding of HTML, CSS and/or JSON.
