Job Summary MUST BE CERTIFIED WITH LICENSE ACTIVE TO BE CONSIDERED. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Perform aseptic techniques to prepare sterile products safely. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care and critical care settings to optimize patient outcomes. Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring availability for patient needs. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations. Requirements Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program. Experience working in a hospital or acute care pharmacy environment is preferred. Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacy operations. Demonstrated ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
