Structural Engineer (Remote)

Job Title: Structural Engineer Location: Remote (or near any Jacobs Engineering office) Duration: 6+ Months (Potential for Full-Time Conversion) Positions: 10 Start Date: ASAP Job Summary Our client is seeking experienced Structural Engineers to support a growing portfolio of industrial engineering projects. This is a fully remote opportunity with the potential to convert to a full-time position after six months. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License – Mandatory. Minimum 4+ years of structural engineering design experience. Strong experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures. Hands-on experience with STAAD.Pro for structural analysis. Working knowledge of Revit. Knowledge of IBC, AISC, ACI, and other structural design codes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience on industrial projects such as manufacturing, power, chemical, oil & gas, or similar industries. Key Responsibilities Design and analyze structural systems for industrial facilities and building structures. Perform structural calculations using hand calculations, spreadsheets, Mathcad, and STAAD.Pro. Develop and review structural models and engineering calculations. Support structural designers by providing technical guidance for Revit drawings. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and engineering standards. Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation. Important Notes P.E. License is mandatory. Fully remote position with occasional virtual meetings. Industrial structural engineering experience is required. Residential-only experience will not be considered.
