Patient Care Tech (PCT), Med Surg 2 N Fast-paced unit is looking for top skilled PCT. Feel free to email your questions to recruitment@texashealth.org.Here's What You Need:High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required, if applicable.Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP or NCCT or an accredited community college program or a THR approved program or Current EMT for TX or Military experience with medical training equivalent (Equivalent to EMT-B) or 1 year of applicable PCT experience in lieu of an active and approved certification or Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program. Previous hospital experience is preferred. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly CPI - Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training within 60 days of hire required.
