Food Truck Line Cook

Job Summary:Ford's on the Road is seeking a skilled driver and line cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality seafood dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, a passion for food, and a strong commitment to quality.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast paced environmentEnsure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure all dishes are prepared according to our recipes and standards of qualityKeep the kitchen area clean and organized at all timesMonitor food inventory and order supplies as neededCommunicate with cashiers to ensure a positive customer experienceRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchenStrong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniquesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsPreferred:Experience working in an upscale casual restaurant environmentKnowledge of seafood sustainability practicesThis is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
