We now specialize in sprinkler system testing, repair and installation, kitchen and restaurant systems, fire alarm design, installation and service, backflow prevention devices, full service alarm monitoring, fire pump repair and installation, and underground hydrant repairs and installation, among the many services we offer.Great company culture and room for growth.The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician is primarily responsible for servicing, repairing, and replacing fire sprinkler products and repairing fire sprinkler systems to the prescribed standards, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service ticket reports. A desired candidate performs the full job despite site and weather conditions, can work with little supervision, has professional communication skills, and is consistently looking out for the customer’s best interest.ResponsibilitiesPerform fire sprinkler system repairs, maintenance, and upgradesTesting and perform maintenance on fire pumpsFlow testing and perform maintenance on fire hydrantsMix, pour, and mold concrete for fire pumpsKeep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, etc.Complete and produce reports that are legible, accurate and detailedInvoice paperwork in a timely mannerStay current with code requirements and industry changesAttend and complete all required trainings, including safety trainingRequirementsPerform other related duties as assigned or requiredValid driver’s licenseHigh School Diploma or GED2 years prior, relevant work experienceAble to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekend to meet customer needsAble to carry and move tools and equipment up to 50-70 lbsAble to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions – climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Able to travel to multiple job sites each dayAble to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders multiples times a dayHigh precision/ detail-oriented Professional verbal and written communication skillsAble to work independently, with little supervisionKnowledge of fire systems and toolsDoes not take short-cuts: work effectively and efficiently while performing all aspects of the required jobPreferredF CardG CardOSHA CertificationKnowledge working in Profit Zoom, Building Reports, and PaylocityWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k) matching
