Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that help organizations make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to transform complex data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain interactive BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.Design and develop data models to support reporting and analytics.Extract, transform, and load data using ETL/ELT processes.Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data consistency.Develop and maintain reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Monitor data quality and resolve reporting or data-related issues.Optimize dashboards, reports, and queries for performance.Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to improve data pipelines and structures.Create documentation for BI solutions, data models, and reporting processes.Provide technical support and training to business users when required.Ensure BI solutions follow data security, governance, and compliance standards.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.2+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, or a related role.Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.Experience with data modeling and dashboard development.Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Microsoft Power BI and DAX.Knowledge of Power Query.Experience With SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Or Other Databases.Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of dimensional modeling, including Star and Snowflake schemas.Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Key CompetenciesAnalytical thinkingData-driven problem solvingAttention to detailBusiness understandingCommunication and collaborationTime managementSkills: dashboards,business intelligence,power bi,data,sql,cloud,reporting,business requirements,analytics
